The author

Vanessa Walder is an Austrian writer and translator of novels and screenplays. Her audience is primarily children and young adults, but most books are meant for all age groups. Since 2001, she's published more than a hundred novels and written several movie screenplays. Walder was born in Heidelberg, Germany, in 1978 and grew up in Vienna, Austria, where she graduated high school and studied law. She's been living in Berlin, Germany since 2008.
