In 1999, the duo Christian Bieniek and Marlene Jablonski had the idea for a book series but no time to write it. So Vanessa Walder, in 16 volumes, wrote the story of Jasmin, Laura, and Magdalena, who grow up in an assisted living community. "sisters" was published by Loewe-Verlag between 2001 and 2011. The names of the three authors became the pseudonym C.B. Lessmann.
